The year isn't over yet -- we still have the Wildwater training camp scheduled for November 19-25 in Ohiopyle, PA and the Charlotte Sprint scheduled for December 2-3. The Charlotte Sprint, which is replacing the Jiffy Wildwater Race, will be held at the US National Whitewater Center (USNWC) in Charlotte, NC. It will be a Sprint only weekend event. This will be the first wildwater sprint race to be held at USNWC. It will give our Junior athletes a first glimpse at the venue they will race on at the 2007 Junior World Championships.

Speaking of 2007, we are happy to announce that the venues for the 2007 U.S. Team Trials and Nationals have been selected. All of the bids were outstanding! And the venues that were not chosen are working together to provide regional races as appropriate.

Last, but not least, is the minutes of the USACK Wildwater Committee meeting that was held on October 3.
