Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

I wish the best for those who are participating in the Wildwater Training Camp starting tomorrow in Pennsylvania. Keep warm and have fun!! Hopefully the weather wil be a bit warmer for the Charlotte Sprint which is scheduled for December 2-3. This event, which replaces the Jiffy Wildwater Race, will be held at the US National Whitewater Center (USNWC) in Charlotte, NC. It will be a Sprint only weekend event. This will be the first wildwater sprint race to be held at USNWC. It will give our Junior athletes a first glimpse at the venue they will race on at the 2007 Junior World Championships.

As we near the end of 2006, it is time to reflect on the highlights and challenges that we faced in 2006. We also have a glimpse at our vision for wildwater racing in 2007.

Happy Thanksgiving ..... and get out and paddle!
