This is going to be a special year for the Junior Wildwater Team because the 2007 Junior Wildwater World Championships are being held in the USA on July 15-22.

To ensure that our rules support having a full team at the 2007 Junior World Championships, and to add clarification, the Wildwater Committee (WWC) of the USA Canoe/Kayak Team has amended the bylaws. The details of these changes can be found in the first article listed below.

While on the subject of the 2007 Junior Wildwater World Championships, note the second article below. It contains some initial information about the official website of 2007 Junior Wildwater World Championships. There also is a brief article about schedule releases on the Saluda River, where the Classic Race will be held.

Please note that the "Chute the Channel" training camp and race that was scheduled for February 10-11 at the USNWC has been cancelled. We are working to get it rescheduled, probably some time in May.

We haven't forgotten our Senior racers!! ALL wildwater racers are encouraged to participate in the Glacier Breaker Wildwater Race scheduled for February 24-25. Also, don't forget the U.S. National Wildwater Championships. The press release from Zoar Outdoors is also included in this issue of the USAWildwater.com E-zine.
