Two events are coming up real soon - the 15th Annual Upper Gauley Race on Monday, September 24th and the GCA Southeastern Championships on the weekend of October 6th and 7th. You can learn more about both of these races in the articles listed in this E-zine.

Also included in this E-zine is an article with the Nantahala Racing Club's calendar of races and training camps for now through March, 2008. As more information becomes available on these and all wildwater activities, the USAWildwater.com website will be updated.

Bill Endicott wrote a book (The Danger Zone) about wildwater back in 1985. As part of a project with the ICF, this book has now been digitized by USACK so it can be freely distributed. The info's dated but a great start for someone looking to get into the sport at a high level. You will find links to the book in the appropriate article listed below.

We still need your help in securing race sites/organizers for our 2008/20099 Team Trials, Junior Team Trials, and the National Championships. The last article spells out what what we need and what we expect from the organizers who choose to bid for the events. The bids need to be submitted to John Pinyerd, Wildwater Committe Chairman, by November 1st.
