Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

The fall wildwater season is here. Are you ready??

The ANIMAL Upper Gauley race will be Sweet 16 in less than 2 weeks (September 22nd). We also have the The 40th Annual Southeastern U.S. Slalom and Wildwater Championships on October 4-5 on the Nantahala River and the Mid-Atlantic Downriver Series (MADS) Final on November 1-2 on Tohickon Creek.

I have also included a link to the current 2008 U.S. Wildwater Rankings so you can check out where you stand. The USA Wildwater Calendar also shows which races are included in the rankings. If you know about a race that is not on the calendar, send me the results (or a link to them) and I will integrate the information in the rankings.

Last, but not least, we have a new feature on the USAWildwater website. Go to www.usawildwater.com/reviews/index.html or click on the last item in the drop-down link under "Equipment" on the home page to see a list of reviews of wildwater equipment submitted by our viewers.
