2013 ICF Wildwater Junior World Championships
The US Junior Wildwater Team is in Lofer, Austria for the 2013 ICF Wildwater Junior World Championships. The opening ceremony was yesterday (July 9); races start today and conclude on Saturday, July 13. Go to http://canoeworlds.com/ for all the news from Lofer! 2013 ICF Sprint World Championships and Wildwater World Cup
The US Senior Wildwater Team competed in the sprint world championships in Solkan, Slovenia last month. Click here to learn more about how our athletes did at this event. Marin Millar stayed in Europe to compete in the 2013 Wildwater World Cup series. Congratuations to Marin on her 7th place finish in the World Cup races!!
2013 US Wildwater National Championships
The new dates for the Nationals are Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7, 2013. These dates and the venue coincide with the 2013 ICF Freestyle World Championships being held on the Nantahala River. This is an amazing opportunity for USA Wildwater to gain international exposure. 2014 US Wildwater Team Trials
The USA Wildwater Committee has announced the dates for the 2014 US Wildwater Team Trials and a change in the selection process for the senior team. With this change, we will now have split (eastern and western) team trials for both the juniors and seniors. The 2014 Eastern Team Trials will be part of the 2013 National Championships on September 6-7, 2013. The 2014 USA Wildwater Western Team Trials will be held in Colorado in late April, 2014. The specific date and location will be determined soon.
