Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

There still is time (until November 20th) to nominate someone to serve as an officer on the USACK Wildwater Committee for the 2006-2007 term. Poll your friends that are dedicated to Wildwater and help us come up with a SLATE of dedicated WWC Nominees. All nominations will be posted on www.usawildater.com and in an e-zine by November 22nd. You will then have until December 1st to vote. See the first article listed below for more information on the nomination and election process.

In other major news, David Yarborough, the Executive Director of USA Canoe/Kayak reports that "there is a withdrawal of plans for the UK to host the 2006 Wildwater Senior worlds at Bala. The ICF is soliciting new bids from European Federations that are due by December 15.". Please stay tuned to USAWildwater.com for breaking information!!!!

Meanwhile, we are continuing to develop plans for the best year of Wildwater racing in the U.S.A. The final three articles are about the "Chute the Hooch" training camp, a new way to promote communication about wildwater racing, and what Savage River Works is offering in new wildwater kayaks (just in case you are in the market for a new Wildwater kayak).
