Dear Wildwater Racers and Friends:

It's time for the Wildwater World Championships. Good luck to all the USA Team athletes!! You can see video coverage compliments of WildWater TV Italia. Be sure to also watch the official event website for daily updates and results. Links are provided in the first two articles.

We also bring you news about the 2012/2013 US Wildwater Team Trials which will be held on September 14-16) on the Fife Brook section of the Deerfield River near Charlemont, MA.

The 2012 US Wildwater National Championships were held on Memorial Day weekend on the Hoback River near Jackson, Wyoming. Thanks to the Jackson Hole Kayak Club and to Rendezvous River Sports for putting on a fine event and congratulations to the atheletes who earned the title of US National Champions. I continue to be impressed with the paddling community in Colorado - especially the organizers who devote so much time to the up-and-coming athletes. Read more about their program in the article about the Colorado High School Cup Race Series.

Finally, I included a link to the minutes of the Wildwater Committee meeting that was held pm May 25th at the site of the National Championships.
